RUTHANNE

ZUEGER

President

Ruthanne, the eldest child of Ron Lundquist (second generation owner and leader), was the first child to join Heggem-Lundquist as an Accounting Assistant after graduating from Regis University in 1987.   

 

During her first 18 years at HL, Ruthanne served in a variety of Accounting and Human Resource Management roles. In 2005, the Lundquist Family began succession planning and transitioning leadership/ownership from the second to third generation. At this time, Ruthanne was named President/CEO responsible for continuing the family legacy. For the past 15 years, Ms. Zueger has successfully transitioned into the role of President /CEO, fulfilling on a successful transition from second to third generation while growing the Company’s bottom line, creating a diverse team of best in class, loyal employees and positioning HL for long-term viability prepared to transition to Gen 4!

 

On a daily basis, Ruthanne is a hands-on leader supporting employees, family and HL Board of Directors with strategic business plans, policies development, budgets/financials, HR management, client relations, capital expenditures and overall business development. Her determination and commitment to succeed in a male dominated field where she is recognized as a peer can be seen through her contributions to the NAWIC, Déjà vu Steering Committee, Denver Sector Partnership and AGC Committee’s and now Board of Directors.

 

The hallmark of Ruthanne’s career to date is her commitment to the employees of Heggem-Lundquist, her passion for the growth and sustainability of small businesses in the Denver/Metro area, her and stewardship for the construction industry/trades all while never losing sight of the gift of leading a family owned business and paying forward to future generations. Ruthanne is especially proud that the continued success and growth of Heggem-Lundquist can be measured by a legacy of loyal clientele, repeat customers and personal referrals.
